VERY VS TOO
THE ENGLISH GURU

Similarly,if you do not know the use of words, what will happen? It makes no difference between using or not using them.On the contrary, the improper use of words will mislead others.

LET'S COME TO THE POINT

VERY  VS  TOO

Do you know how to use Very and Too? You have seen Very and Too in sentences or you have used them in sentences. But,some of us may find difficult to use Very and Too in sentences.

THE ENGLISH GURU

To-day,I am going to show you the easiest and clearest way which will help you to understand in a better way.

As Anthony Robbins says, "It not knowing what to do,it's doing what you know."

Let's move on--
Only two differences will give you the best concept. They are---
1. 'Very' is used to mean "it is possible", but 'too' is used to mean "it is not possible."
2. 'Very' is used in positive sense(as it is possible), but 'too' is used in negative sense(as it is not possible).

Let's see a few sentences---
1. The tea is very hot. But,you can drink it.
It means, though the tea is very hot, it is possible to drink. It means "positive sense", because you can drink or it is possible for you to drink.

2. The tea is too hot.I cannot drink it.It means, the tea is so hot that I cannot drink it.It is not possible for me to drink it.It also means "negative sense" as it is not possible to drink.

Are you still confused? No,never. It is very easy.

Well, let's be clear more through more sentences

1. A man,in a shop, wants to buy a shirt. He has 1000 rupees. But,the price of the shirt is 600 rupees. He says,"It is very expensive." It means, according to his view, the shirt is very expensive or it should not be so expensive. But,he can buy it, because it is possible for him to buy it as the amount of the money he has is more than the price of it.
2. In a shopping mall, a gentle man wants to buy a coat. The price of the coat is 20,000 rupees. But he has 15,000 rupees only. Then, he says, "It is too expensive." He says so, because the amount of the money he has is less than the price of the coat.It is impossible to buy the coat for him.
